On a day to day basis, my role includes speaking to clients and renewing their policies, along with managing the debts and refunds in my team.
I have learnt how to speak to clients
I have enjoyed working in my team along with completing my qualifications
The programme involves a 3 month update with my learning coach, along with 5 separate courseworks and exams. I feel it would have been better with more support with the exams.
My team offer me a lot of support and are always willing to help with questions. They have also given a lot of understanding for my time needed for exams.
My training provider does not offer a lot of support with the qualification. Other than the 3 monthly check ins, I have no contact with my training coach who also does not often respond to emails.
My qualification provides a basis of understanding to my role, however does not necessarily help with the specific concepts I deal with on a day to day basis.
At christmas, we have a christmas party. I have also attended a quiz night in the office.
Yes
I think that the apprenticeship has been a really beneficial way to gain experience and knowledge without going to uni.
I would recommend not being too concerned with how much prior knowledge you have as they will teach you everything you need to know.
