  • On a day to day basis, my role includes speaking to clients and renewing their policies, along with managing the debts and refunds in my team.

  • I have enjoyed working in my team along with completing my qualifications

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme involves a 3 month update with my learning coach, along with 5 separate courseworks and exams. I feel it would have been better with more support with the exams.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My team offer me a lot of support and are always willing to help with questions. They have also given a lot of understanding for my time needed for exams.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider does not offer a lot of support with the qualification. Other than the 3 monthly check ins, I have no contact with my training coach who also does not often respond to emails.

  • My qualification provides a basis of understanding to my role, however does not necessarily help with the specific concepts I deal with on a day to day basis.

  • At christmas, we have a christmas party. I have also attended a quiz night in the office.

  • Yes

  • I think that the apprenticeship has been a really beneficial way to gain experience and knowledge without going to uni.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Aon?
  • I would recommend not being too concerned with how much prior knowledge you have as they will teach you everything you need to know.
