It usually varies. In the mornings, I always check my emails for anything that I've missed the day before, then finish tasks (if I have any from the day before). If I have meetings for the day, I prep for those and afterwards I usually take/draft the minutes, sending them off to review. I also do a bit of work in Marketing and Cyber strategy, so I help out in those sectors as well.
I definitely improved on my digital skills, especially since I use Outlook and Excel on a daily basis. I use my Outlook calendar a lot for time management and to create reminders for myself. I also think that my soft skills, especially communication has improved because I communicate with clients through emails and meetings.
I definitely like the programme I am on and I feel the support that I get from my team is really well-balanced. Sometimes, work is a bit inconsistent so I can find myself doing nothing productive at times, but that is sometimes the nature of the job.
I think the programme is well-structured but I do prefer F2F learning rather than just taking online modules but that is just my preference.
I do receive a lot of support. I have a manager, a mentor and a buddy so I do feel like I am supported.
.The support is there when I need it however sometimes I wish there were more F2F learning involved.
There are opportunities to get involved in.
Yes
It is a great place to work and the work-life balance is honestly the best thing out there.
Focus on your soft skills and remember to use the STAR method
