I am responsible for managing and delivering the continuous improvement strategy for the site. I provide training, support, technical knowledge and delivery of projects for CEVA at a client level
I have continued to develop my technical skills by being able to share my experience across multiple client types and different locations. I have also developed better communication and management skills
I am really enjoying the programme as a whole and the small group size is making it easier to build a rapport with the trainer and my course mate. This is leading to better opportunities to share ideas.
The programme is very well structured and follows a set routine each month.
CEVA are very supportive of apprenticeships and offer a multitude of different courses. The way CEVA operate as a business encourages existing employees to begin apprenticeships or be able to hire new employees to complete one.
I am receiving a lot of support from the provider and have the ability to be able to contact them freely to answer any questions ahead of a submission.
This qualification is directly related to my role so I am gaining more knowledge and understanding that I can actively use on a daily basis to improve the site. This is also allowing me to become a better coach and mentor to my colleagues.
There are various different things to get involved with around CEVA. This differs on a site-by-site basis but also across the business there are CEVA wide (UK) activities to sign up to to be able to network and socialise
Yes
CEVA is a great, forward-thinking company that is continually striving to improve. The focus put on development and internal promotions is a key part of why I joined and there is a clear pathway for me to design what my future looks like.
Be open minded about what opportunities could fall your way and just get stuck in. There are many different contracts, departments and roles that could offer you the next step in your career.
