1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work within Risk & Controls and liaise with internal teams around the business ensuring their controls function as they should to mitigate any identified risks ahead of any internal/external audits (and the role out of ICFR). I am also working on system access to ensure there are no security risks here.

It's a great programme - fully supported by B&Q with additional learning/support on top of the basic

Well organised with a working group responsible for overseeing the scheme & making any updates to it that are required

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots! Extra in-house training, days off for exams, distribution of workload when this clashes with study/exam days, regular manager catch ups

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Regular meetings to discuss admin side of apprentice scheme

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am able to understand what is required of me and to what level, I am also able to adapt this to the person, situation or task. I am able to follow technical conversations and have the ability to challenge when I don't understand or agree

I have found communication and curiosity to be the biggest driver in me growing - I would suggest using these too!
