I organise inductions every three weeks, do admin tasks related to other training programmes of my department and create e-learning modules. I also perform learning needs analysis occasionally.
I've been assigned new tasks that I haven't done before, such as conducting a learning needs analysis and evaluating our learning and development interventions. As a result of my apprenticeship, I now have more interactions with my colleagues. I also facilitate inductions and my author's Excel course.
Sometimes I struggle but 'no pain no gain' as they say. I believe I benefit from the programme a lot.
It is well organised with the opportunity to catch up if I am behind. I enjoy face-to-face workshops as well.
My employer is super supportive. We meet regularly to discuss how my skills can be developed with the help of my apprenticeship.
I am in touch with my trainer and I know I can always rely on my tutor if I have any questions/difficulties.
I am motivated to gain experience in a more structured manner as an apprentice since I need to provide evidence for my qualification, which enables me to progress faster compared to not being an apprentice.
I will attend an L&D conference as a listener next month for the third time since I've started my apprenticeship.
