  • My role within the department has not changed since beginning the apprenticeship.

  • Currently learning new topics in university which I have found enjoyable.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There have been a few topics that seem to be unrelated to my role. The timetable has been disorganised and on occasion there have been changes made but students haven’t been informed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have been given day release to attend university and have asked for extra study time as the workload is vast especially as there is a second day of lectures. This has been difficult to keep on top of as work is not required to give extra study time.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • People are available to speak to at the university however I only attend 1 day a wk and the timetable is usually full from 9am-5pm so can be difficult to speak with people from that point of view.

  • Currently I have seen no change within my role. However in the next few years I expect to see a difference.

  • There’s very little opportunity.

  • No

  • The current situation of the trust (staffing levels) has ment that I continue with me day to day duties and am not always given the opportunity for study time or teaching.
