As a cloud billing apprentice, I am involved with the invoicing process each month end. I mainly alter pricing, liaise with account managers and amend any missing data or mistakes on accounts.
I have learnt many new useful skills such as professional communication, improved excel skills, data analytical skills and increased confidence in my role as a whole. My numerical skills have also improved, a long with my interpersonal skills.
I very much enjoy the programme, I feel as though If you apply yourself there is a lot that you can gain from the course and the job. I feel like the learning has changed my perspective on my job and life in general.
The programme is structured well, there is a lot of useful info that tailors to what you will learn on the job as you progress. It has improved, and the information is helpful and complements the job.
We recieve a lot of support, this is from managers and the apprenticeship coordinator. However, we are able to reach out to anyone who can help us with any query and they will be happy to help.
We receive a good amount of support, we have regular 121s and seminars where we learn about our course in more detail.
I think that the qualification complements the job and helps us learn key skills and knowledge that assist us to carry out our job better. It is however not tailored to out role specifically but still provides us with valuable knowledge.
Yes there are many communities and networks to join, there are no shortage of social events and activities.
