I was an intern/associate at an audit firm. I had to request samples, identify any issues and complete assigned tasks within the business
Yes! I have learnt how to do audit tests, use the company's digital tools, how to talk to client, how to keep on top of my work and how to communicate with a team
I enjoyed the program very much! I think I gained a lot of experience as to how to work in a professional environment with professional people
I think it was well organised - at the beginning however many other people were not booked to jobs so it was a big hassle at the beginning trying to get everyone booked on jobs. But it did get sorted out.
A lot of support! We have a coach with us and buddies and on the audit engagements we were on the team was well aware of our situation and was very accomodating
This work experience feeds into our accounting qualification
Very well as we do more audits and gain more experience we will be able perform better as auditors
I don't think there were many events we could participate in because we do work during busy season so it's a bit difficult to plan events at this time, I went out with my team on one of the audits to lunch so that was fun.
Yes
You get to work in a real office with other professions and you get to put all the theory into practice. It's actually quite fun and the people are lovely and supportive
Just go for it, you will not lose anything
