Excellent corporate culture and healthy working environment exhibiting strong team spirit and professionalism. I remained highly motivated due to various perks like overtime, expensed meals and hybrid working as well as flexible office hours.
Developed a practical understanding on the working of audit and client communication. Realised the opportunity to see actual corporate life which instilled discipline and time management within myself. Also received the opportunity to work effectively in high pressured and deadlined environments.
Really enjoyed the working lifestyle and took advantage of being honoured to work for PwC by participating in career promotion events to network.
Constantly had team catch ups throughout the engagement to ensure work was delegated effectively. I also lended a hand whenever I had the chance to support my team members which improved the entire functionality of the team on a daily basis.
Experienced the actual working environment during the busiest season of the year which made me confident about PwC's approach to getting work done timely as well as maintaining self wellbeing. Really enjoyed the corporate culture and working with many people along with knowing their career progression journeys.
Enhanced my understanding on audit in the real world which contributed towards building a strong foundation towards my ICAEW examinations. This further helped me understand the industry and recognise the need of chartered accountants owing to the huge market which made me appreciate the field of accounting as a career that I have chosen
Received monthly salary as well as overtime for any extra hours worked which acted as a huge incentive in contributing towards my living expenses and accommodation whilst at university.
Several career progression events and socials which created the environment to catch informally as well as build networks across the office
