Responsibility for day to day running of a store, training, developing and supporting the team, delivering great customer service, maintaining core business principles and delivering sales and profit targets.
I have been in retail for a long time, so most of my learning has been around new models and refreshing/revitalising my knowledge.
Mostly- although sometimes the workload can be a bit overwhelming. My coach however always understands and supports.
It is logically put together and seems to flow well.
At my level I should be able to manage my time and am left to do so. My line manager supports me well- and I don't need to go to him for anything. He has shown great interest in what I am doing and has empowered me to share with my peer group.
Plenty. Despite changing coaches I feel both have been friendly, approachable and supportive. All dealings I have had with RTB have been positive.
I certainly have a feeling of reassurance I am in the right job! I feel calmer and more organised.
To a degree yes- but its often about what I as store manager create/facilitate. At a regional level not often but I do join in and often organise!
Yes
Well in saying that only some friends- I believe its not for all but there are many good things for the right people.
Be you, be open minded and be aware you will probably feel a bit lost for the first few weeks. It is a great feeling when you can answer your first customer question without asking for help! Mine was where are the jubilee clips. And I was delighted I knew what they were and where they were!
