On a day to day basis my job role as an apprentice is too answer phone calls, take holiday payments and taking bookings. I haven't been fully trained up yet but at this moment in time I will greet customers and answer phones. Once I have been fully trained I will then be able to sell holidays and trade in FX.
I have definitely learned new skills by learning how to use the computer and the systems we use online. As well as taking meetings on teams these are things I haven't had too do before so is all new to me. I also will have developed my customer service skills as I gained that skill from previous jobs and now I can bring the skill to this job role and develop it further.
I am very much enjoying my experience during this programme and can't wait to get started properly by been able to take bookings and having a full experience of the job. I have spent time shadowing other colleagues so I have learned and seen what the job is exactly about.
This programme has been very well put together and organized with meetings been planned so far in advance. As well having my work set, instead of been assigned with so much in one go I get it set with so much to do first and after that's completed is when I get assigned more.
I definitely receive lots of help and support from my employer as well as my other colleagues. Everyone is willing to help me with anything I may need some support with.
My coach is amazing and is always guiding me to score higher on my work and gives me very good advice for me too take on board. She is always willing to help even after the meeting together if I ever have a problem to message her and I am confident I'd get the support I need.
I feel that this qualification will help me perform better in my role as I am learning whilst on the job so I am able to take my time whilst adapting to this work life. My training provider definitely helps me by advising what to do to do better and helping me improve.
I am currently unaware of any activities that may take place outside of work but I have bee informed about educationals.
Yes
I have no reason to fault the company as an employee nor a customer.
I would advise to come in willing to be challenged but it's only for the best for you to be learned but don't ever give up if things get hard.
