So far, my day-to-day has involved learning more about my workplaces network infrastructure. This involves learning about the different devices, software, hardware, firewall, applications, and other stuff that make up the network. Additionally, I also have shadowing sessions with senior network engineers and assist on projects. I also spend time learning from online prescribed learning resources and take mock exams in preparation for further practical learning opportunities.
I've learnt a lot of new skills in relation to my job role and network and have developed and improved on my other skills.
So far, I am enjoying my programme. I did have a moment where I struggled with the learning resource provided, however with support from my line-manger, my team, and course provider I was able to overcome this problem.
It is a very well organised and structured well
I have received a lot of support from my employer. My line-manger and team are incredibly supportive and assist me whenever I am struggling or have questions. The early careers team are very supportive and put into place some useful seminars and have regular check ins.
I have received quite a bit of support from my training provider. My learning mentor has been very supportive and has helped me a lot.
I would say it helps a lot, especially since the knowledge I obtain from the qualification is very relevant and important to my job role for everyday work.
I believe there are quite a few social activities, voluntary work, and networking events hosted by my employer.
Yes
I would recommend Fidelity International to a friend, because it’s a professional company that works with realistic expectations from their employees and supports them to achieve their goals in the company and outside the company. They also encourage a supportive and positive work culture and make it easy to ask questions and to find help.
Give it a go and put your best foot forward, Fidelity International is open to anyone to apply to their apprenticeships.
