  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Everyone I have worked with have been pleasent, helpful and very understanding. Networking around different departments and being introduced to many internal members of the company and creating a relationship has been a great opportunity. I feel very at home with the M&G company culture, the help recieved by all staff has been great.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by M&G?
  • Confidence from all of the teams I have worked with in the projects and tasks set, alongside great feedback and appraisals at the end of each rotation. I think M&G really want me to succeed with my apprenticeship and are confident that I will.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The working environment is great and really well structured, although 7-8 different rotations during the course of 12-18 months is a bit tough, on the other hand exposure to so many different departments is great to understand the business and build relationships. Weekly one-to-ones with team and line managers have been a great way to manage tasks and expectations, whilst also allowing for communication around personal requirements. Training and qualification provided by Kaplan has been a bit stop/start, although mostly beneficial and I feel confident that I will complete the whole course.

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • A good level of support, but confidence in the structure of the course has been a struggle, a long period of time in between each module has meant that dealines and targets have had to be moved to coincide with these factors. Point one contact has been good, usually hear back from the person within the day.

    7/10

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • All my needs are met by my employer, I am free to discuss any concerns with my managers who have a good level of understanding and are happy to help. All staff are happy to assist if ever help is required. Manager is proactive and regularly checks up on my progress.

    9/10

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • Could always do with more, but I am not at a disadvantage currently. Travel costs can sometimes be an issue, but sorted out with M&G.

    8/10

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • There is usually some form of outside event happening each week, really good to get involved and meet new people that I may not have been exposed to around the company.

    8/10

  • 9. Would you recommend M&G to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Because they have been really helpful and proactive. I feel confident with M&G that I have the right job for me and that I can progress in the future. M&G are happy to invest time to help you more forward.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to M&G?
  • Be proactive, ensure you understand who M&G are and what they do. Be yourself.
