Live in healthcare support worker. I am responsible for medication, assisting to wash and dress, driving client to social events and doctors appointments, shopping and cooking for client, assisting with computer usage, manuel handling, assisting client in all aspects of her day to day living. Record keeping and liasing with other healtcare professionals and my company regarding her care and keeping them updated
I have developed existing skills, particularly regarding effective communication as client has a big family so sometimes disputes with siblings arise and i have to mediate.
I enjoyed the lecturer on our workshop and his manner of teaching, friendly demeaner and good social skills.
The e- learning could do with more support.

Training provider is very busy so i have to fit in with her schedule even if i'm busy
