Drafting of legal documents, interacting with chartered legal executives and solicitors, working with clients, chasing expert evidence, medical and emergency service records. Business development for serious injury in the East Midlands.
Yes developed my drafting and proof-reading skills. Become more confident in dealing with people particularly external.
The programme is excellent, the opportunity to learn through performing tasks such as drafting legal documents and build networks through internal and external interations.
The programme is very well structured, the work I get involved in fits with the apprenticeship learning to provide the evidence required. The learning is well organised and allows me to monitor my on going progress.
My employer is very supportive of the apprenticeship programme, I have 1 day a week study leave to allow me to complete the required learning and preparation for workshops. My time target is adjusted accordingly to accommodate studies and on the job learning.
I feel fully supported by the learning provider, my coach is available to talk through things when required. The regular progress meetings are productive as are the joint progress meetings with my coach and line manager.
The progress towards the qualification helps me better understand my role, I can see the fit between the learning and work within my role, this in turn makes me feel more confident in my ability to perform my role.
Yes I am involved in the business development for the East Midlands, this provides plenty of opportunity to get involved in networking events.
