I am a personal assistant to 2 high level people within AstraZeneca. This involves me organising and arranging meetings, events and travel for them.
I have developed my Microsoft skills and learnt new laws and regulations businesses have to comply to in order to run a legal enterprise.
I enjoy the content and the layout of the apprenticeship.
The beginning was disorganised due to my first tutor not holding tutorials and setting all my work as independent however my new tutor is very structured and communicative.
I now receive support as and when I need it.
I haven’t needed too much assistance so far however put tutorial sessions are helpful but could be more useful.
The assignments that develop our Microsoft skills are the most useful as we use that almost all day everyday.
There are many clubs I am involved with and many more options to partake in too.
Yes
It is a great environment with so many great people, who are incredible to learn from and surround yourself with.
Be on time to any interviews and be professional in any correspondence. So far all the people I have had the pleasure of meeting within AstraZeneca are so kind so don’t worry too much.
