Mechanically maintaining the factories machines either on my own or with my mentor. We do preventative, reactive and predictive maintenance.
I have learnt many new skills, especially with help of a mentor to guide me. With a good mentor they can show you the skills they have learnt with their experience.
I really enjoyed the programme I am on. The first year at college definitely helps with your confidence and exposures you to what the industry is going to be like.
The programme I am on is well organised in company, however they could improve in the communication of when you move around different areas, as the new factory isn't always aware of you starting.
I receive a lot of support, they are always there to help. I have people who are always there to speak to if I have any questions and problems. Also, they are understanding with any problems you might be having at college or home.
All the trainers are very helpful and always give you good feedback on your work
The things I learn at college help understand things I do at work, however some topics do seem a little useless as I have never had to use some of it.
As an apprentice there are a lot of activities I get asked to take part of. They are always good to meet and bond with the other apprentices.
Yes
Everyone is helpful and good to work with. Also there have been a lot of apprentices before and they are all willing to help you along the way
Do your research about the company and try to be as genuine as possible
