I have learn't loads of new skills during the course in how to breakdown a project and assess decision making tools. I have also developed my financial skills with the Finance team.
I did find the course challenging at times most of the challenge was within myself but I did have the support of the Tutor to guide me when I got stuck on occasions.
Yes the programme covered lots of areas and the slides and supporting documents were great for referring to during the role and extra learning was good for embedding certain aspects.
My Manager was great and joined any meeting with the tutor as required and made sure I had the opportunity to be exposed to areas of the operational role to gain first hand experience.
my tutor was always available should I need it and gave feedback when required. He always made sure he checked in with me to ensure I was keeping on track and offered support.
The course allowed me to apply for the operational role whilst supporting me in a new role and will continue to do so.
There are professional networking events held online and also we use NHS select to gain training online.
