  • I am on the People Graduate scheme and in the 2 year programme, I will take on 3 different roles. I am currently in the benefits team looking after employee benefits and the processes/tasks that go with that.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt how to manage stakeholders and various streams of communication. Presenting to internal and external stakeholders has also been a developed skill in my role.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It has been very insightful, I enjoy learning about different areas of the business and how it connects to People Professional qualifications.

  • There is a clear structure to the programme and the tasks of the apprenticeship are easy to work through.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I am given the time I need to complete my apprenticeship tasks every week and I can reach out to whoever I need to for any questions that I may have.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • They are available by email regularly and hold workshops regularly to set us up for the next part of the assessments. Everyone at Babington is very knowledgeable so they have lots of resources available to share.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It gives me more context into the way that my organization and role fits into the 'standard' way of working and whether we differ much. I can compare this organization to others and draw conclusions related to performance and expectations etc.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are volunteering opportunities regularly, colleague support networks, graduate events and socials, professional events related to my role - hosted by external stakeholders.
