I’m a customer service representative for British airways . I can be on check in, boarding a flight, in the lounge, self bag drop , hosting , connections and arrivals
I have been able to become more confident in myself and broaden my knowledge within the aviation sector.
I do enjoy it but I think that when working landside it is very repetitive. Whereas airside is very unpredictable and exciting
I enjoy the program as it’s a great starting point for my age . I just don’t enjoy the workshop days as they can be quite repetitive.
My line manager is absolutely amazing they are always there for me and always have my back and have supported me a lot
In the beginning it was a bit chaotic as it was not structured but now . I feel so supported
Yes there are sometimes volunteer events but they can be very far to commute
Yes
Is a great airline to work for and it’s a good way to start of your career if you are at school leaver age
Just be yourself and confident. You must be willing to put in 100% effort and take every opportunity
