My role is based on running shifts and asissting employee wellbeing, maintaining standards, training and many other responsibilities. Day to day, you will see me leading different areas within the restaurant, supporting and training other employees on different stations and running areas, also supporting our new trainee managers with managerial responsibilities.
I have learned many new skills and developed multiple of my existing skills, this include: - Leading a team - Supporting employees - Communication - Teamwork - Management styles These tasks are really useful within my workplace as they allow me to manage my role effectively and without stress or worry. I am also continuously learning and developing my skills.
I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship, it has provided me with many new skills, helped me develop both personally and professionally, and moving into my assessments has been a massive boost in confidence as I have been able to be myself and express myself in ways that I didn't know I was able to!
The programme is very easy to navigate and well structured. I have been very well supported by my coach with Lifetime Training and she has supported me through any questions or conerns about the programme. The programme is structured monthly, so you know what your tasks are both in the current and upcoming months, and is very easy to understand as they have set due dates and targets to achieve, making it inclusive and rewarding.
In my opinion, my employer sees supporting their staff paramountly over anything else. People first is the way that my employer sees this and I have recieved so much support from different levels of management within my company. They have helped me progress through the apprenticeship and helped me develop as a manager and a person.
In my opinion, my training provider sees supporting their staff paramountly over anything else. Very much so, the different topics within the programme really benefit and help you in your day to day work, they will help develop different skills necessary to working in McDonald's, the skills you develop are useful in more or less any job role within the restaurant!
