I am the planner for Tyneside, Airdrie and Carlisle. i am responsible for round coverage and pushing recruitment, optimising rounds, moving postcodes and managing the volume, planning for the peak seasons.
I have learnt a lot of new skills in this role. I have managed to develop my excel skills considerably. developed my people management skills, organisational and planning skills and learnt gow to use geoplan and power BI
I am really enjoying it, the subjects are relevant so I am able to use the knowledge I am gaining every day and the course leader is engaging and interesting.
The course is clearly well planned and organised, there is a clear structure even though it is only 2 years in
My employer is very supportive, they give me the time I need to do the course.

I don't want to say no, I think there are some online sessions but we are a relatively small team

In my area at least, the team are very supportive, it is so easy to talk to anyone, anywhere in the chain of command and it really feels like they have your back
Don't be afraid to come in with your own ideas as everyone is willing to listen
