My day to day role covers a range of pre-contract and post-contract duties, such as cost reporting, valuation preparation, preparing tender reports, attending site visits and contributing cost advice within design team meetings.
Yes - I have developed my technical skills relating to the role, in addition to wider skills such as excel.
I really enjoy my programme. My skills have rapidly developed and I have gained some great friends along the way.
We have very regular structured events and calls to support our development. In addition, we have a very structured training and qualification plan.
My employer is very supportive in providing advice and guidance in relation to my development.
I receive great support with regular calls for qualification advice occurring on a termly basis.
Becoming chartered is the end goal and the MSc will provide me with the foundation of knowledge to achieve this.
Yes - I am part of an affinity group. We also have many social activities to network throughout the year.
