I run analysis on pharmaceutical products focusing on the active pharmaceutical ingredient's physical properties. I use a variety of analytical techniques for quality control.
I have learned many skills in communication, analytical techniques and safety assessment. I was able to develop my skills in public speaking by hosting weekly team meetings and across labs around site.
I really enjoy learning about new testing methods and working with new equipment. I feel I work well with my team and really enjoy being in my lab,.
I have 4 year long placements in different areas around site, allowing me to learn new skills all throughout my apprenticeship
I have the ability to take extra days of study if I feel I need them which definitely helps and makes me feel fully supported
There are many opportunities offered by my university for curricular and extra-curricular improvement
I feel that both what I learn in university and what I learn in my role are highly linked, especially in earlier courses focused on analytical chemistry
There are sports teams and support groups available at my workplace that organize social events and I myself have taken part in a share of professional outreach events.

The work is always interesting and the teams are very friendly and welcoming. I have not stopped growing since my arrival and I doubt I ever will here.
Take GSK's values to heart when applying to GSK, the pride you feel, knowing you've made something that will help people after a long day, is something I take immense pride in
