I am a Performance Leader with the AA, I attend breakdowns and manage a team of 21 AA Patrols
Yes., I have learnt how to deal with difficult conversations and to listen more.
It is very difficult trying to manage a team of 21 with a massive geographical area, complete breakdowns and spend the time to complete this apprenticeship
the initial meeting was very good, we got lost for a while with the trainer we had. We now have a new one, hopefully things will get much better. As we did not have the support needed.
Initially I struggled with time to complete the course. After bringing it to my managers attention, I was given time to complete work. sometimes operational requirements has come first.
For a while there was very little due to the Trainer, they have left. I believe now it will get much better.
I defiantly have taken onboard new skills and implemented them in my day to day role.
Due to being remote workers, it is difficult to attend.
Yes
After 30 years working for the AA, I am proud to work for them.
Research the company and what we do, we are a 365 day and 24 hour company. the shifts can be hard for some. I would not want to go back to a same location job. I get to see the country and help people when they need it most.
