My role involves providing support to senior project managers with task including minute taking, project/programme reporting, action tracking, risk management, document management, liaison with stakeholders and change management.
My ability to navigate and utilise Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project has been improved. My ability to record concise and accurate meeting minutes has also been enhanced, as well as my confidence with reporting to large groups of people.
I enjoy my apprenticeship very much due to the support provided by the university as well as the company I work for. Working alongside degree study certainly enhances my knowledge and ability to apply learning to workplace scenarios.
My apprenticeship is very well structured, with clear timelines and goals established. Regular check ins are conducted to assess progress against anticipated timelines.
I receive an excellent amount of support from my employer, from 121 check ins on a regular basis and group development opportunities across the business.
I receive plenty of support from training provider, enabling as much or as little interaction with module leaders and tutors as preferred. Regular 121 mandatory check ins are conducted with an assigned apprenticeship outcomes officer to ensure continual support throughout study.
There are definitely elements of study that I can directly apply to my workplace, however a large amount of study material provides insight to other roles within the industry I work in, which is helpful for context, although not entirely relevant to my specific role.
Yes, plenty of social events, fitness events, group development and personal development opportunities available at all times and I am continually encouraged to partake, and often also host.

Great progressive pay, very good yearly bonus, flexible working arrangements, opportunity for travel and networking, supportive colleagues and a wide variety of project types and roles.
The best part of working for Arcadis is the variety of people we have the opportunity to work with - you don't need to be or act a particular way, your individuality, experience and personality is what makes the business so great, so be yourself.
