i work in the Product quality testing team. where i use different methods to determine the microbial load of the various products that AstraZeneca produce from sterile injectables to tablets for heart disease.
Yes since joining i have not stopped learning. and my lab skills have come on no end especially my aseptic techniques.
I am really enjoying my apprenticeship so far and feel i have made good progress
the university side is sometimes quite confusing but from a work perspective it is very well organised and easy to follow
a lot if i needed anything i am sure they would be able to help.
there isn't a huge amount of personal interactive time due to their only being face to face sessions once a year and the rest is online.
it is necessary to gain the academic knowledge my degree is giving me to be confident and well versed in what i am learning about and training in at work.
yes plenty their are probably over 100 clubs/societies at Macclesfield campus which people can get involved in and quarterly communications events which are perfect for networking.

if you succeed in securing a place, to get yourself out there and apply yourself to as many things as you can
