I am a Team Leader within the Talent Acquisition space, so within Human Resources - supporting all recruitment into the Oncology business area and leading a team of 8.
Yes, I am studying the Wellbeing apprenticeship course and expanding my experience through learning how best to support my team and improve the overall workplace culture of AstraZeneca.
I enjoy the flexibility in being able to study online and work with a skills coach to submit assignments. It fits around my role, whilst enabling me to gain valuable skills to support my team and the wider group.
Very organised, although you have to maintain an agile approach as it flexes over the course with more content being more aligned to roles etc and assignments changing as you work through, but it is very clearly outlined to enable you to stay on track.
My employer is very supportive in enabling me to implement the skills I am learning, whilst providing me with time to spend on the study alongside.
Very supportive - regular check-in's/masterclasses with the skills coach etc.
My new skills are benefiting my team through being able to support wellbeing in the workplace.
Yes, I am organising some of them in line with my course!
Yes
I have never worked for a company like AstraZeneca before - it is astounding how much value they place on self-development and support you to achieve your goals.
Research/speak with employees to gain insight into the company values and the workplace culture to work here - I would also improve knowledge of competency based interview styles, to enhance the way that you communicate your strengths within an interview setting.
