Liaison with our client, pricing of schemes, budget and forecast monitoring, change control, commercial reviews. I am mainly responsible for routine and reactive budgets, but have also been involved in minor capital works.
improved professional communication skills, such as managing disputes, and how to raise issues with the client. I have improved my time management skills through prioritisation of tasks. I have also enhanced my IT skills through using Excel in my every day life.
I really enjoy my programme, especially that it is an in person course at Uni. The course is very useful for my career progression and knowledge of the industry that I work in.
It is very well organised, however speaking to new entrants in the last year or two, their experience is not the same as mine which is a shame. When I started my course in 2019 I joined with UWE in Bristol, which is in a convenient location, and we are able to do the study in person, however now most courses are remote and don't provide the same level of interaction
A lot of support
Also a lot of support, however as some of the modules are a mixture of full time and part time students, the module tutors don't appreciate that the part time students have less disposable time as they work the rest of the week.
Very well, it has provided me confidence to perform well in my career.
Yes, however not as many as when I first joined.
