  • At time was operations controller for a client site with day to day control and management of 20+ staff looking after all in factory logistics plus goods in goods out for the civil aviation side of the business.

  • Improved my knowledge of management theory and built relationships with other apprentices across the UK that has aided my career.

  • great tutors who made the experience fun and informative. my tutor was always available to bounce ideas off and this aided my learning.

  • Definitive structure to the learning that was all aimed at being ready for the EPA.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • My line managers supported my learning needs while also supporting my day to day role to ensure the business didn't suffer.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • my tutor always helpful and made time to support when needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training gave me the confidence to apply for and get my new regional role. If I hadn't been on the apprenticeship I may well not have applied in the first place also the networking has helped massively in my new role.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not massively as regional role does allow for dedicated time at depots it varies daily.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I have been with CEVA/TNT since 2001 and my career has been varied but mainly enjoyable for the entirety. The opportunity given for training is a great addition to anyone's arsenal for employment both within and outside of CEVA Logistics


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CEVA Logistics?
  • Prepare for a great career with worldwide opportunities in a field with varied work at a fast changing pace.
