On a day to day basis I work along side nursery practitioners to look after a group of children. We feed them, change their nappies and make sure all their needs are met.
I have developed my skills on working on multiple things at once. I have also gained much more confidence when talking to people due to me needing to talk to colleagues as well as parents and carers of the children.
I really enjoy my programme. I feel supported and know I can easily contact my assessor whenever I need the additional help.
It’s really well organised. I know what I need to do and when it is due.
I receive a lot of support from my employer. They allow me lots of time to complete my work as well as giving me lots of time in the rooms working alongside my colleagues and the children.
She gives me lots of support. She is easy to get hold of when I need her and will answer any questions I have.
It allows me know how things should be as well as giving me a different view of certain things as well as giving me ideas I can take into the nursery that others haven’t thought of.
Within the nursery we do have social events ever so often that allow us to get to know each other better on a personal level.
Yes
It’s a very supportive place to work where everyone wants you to reach your full potential.
Go in with a very open mind, talk to all the other workers and have fun knowing you are doing a very fulfilling job with a great group of girls.
