My role is supporting individuals to live a safe and fulfilling life. I am responsible for ensuring that I provide high quality care and remain sufficiently trained to meet the needs of my service. I support with prompts to promote independence as an alternative to providing direct assistance.
I have developed the skill of time- management more through my experiences in this role.
I have a supportive tutor and a balanced work load; in relation to authentic experience and studying.
Very well organised! The programme structure is sufficiently planned over the duration of the course to ensure deadlines are met with ease.
I receive full support from my manager.
My training provider supports me well, she has been checking in regularly, providing feedback and has offered resources to support my studying.
I believe my qualification has opened my eyes to all the different aspects requirement to perform a leadership role within the workplace.
