Duties: • emotional and practical support to individuals and their families • supervision of care team, support and guidance • medication administration and record keeping • monitoring patients’ vital signs and responding to emergency situations • cooperation with various healthcare professionals • completion and updates of person centered care plans in collaboration with the individual and their relatives • overseeing new admissions and answering telephone queries -reporting incidents and accidents to line management
Yes, definitely improved my English, Maths and general knowledge about many different aspects of delivering person centred adult care as well as legislation applicable in this field.
I'm a keen learner so therefore I can say I enjoyed it very much especially when I had enough time to complete different sections on schedule.
I'm hoping it's improved now. I started the program during transition from one system to enother so it wasn't quite as it should have been.
Very little, basic, just to cover, meet requirements.
I had the pleasure to work with an excellent trainer.
It gives me the confidence to perform to the highest possible standards in many different aspects of care.
Occasionally yes, but it's usually organised on a very tight budget and I'm not interested in it.
No
I don't feel the resources given are adequate, there is very little support from the line manager and I don't feel valued.
I don't feel I can give any constructive advice.
