My current role is within the operations department, I am responsible for analysing incoming demand from our clients from services such as online helpdesk, telephony servicing and then how we schedule staff using this information to meet demand
I have noticed a significant improvement in my ability to speak publicly since starting this apprenticeship, the opportunities I am given allow me to develop crucial skills relating to confidence, speaking ability, and networking.
I genuinely enjoy my programme, I have been given constant opportunities outside of my day job. I have had a chance to speak with senior individuals across the organisation, I am trusted to take on and lead area projects.
My programme is structured in a way that I have constant support, whether that be my line manager, the apprenticeship team or my tutor for the professional qualification I am undergoing. Lloyds are an expert when it comes to apprenticeships, everything runs smoothly!
I receive constant support from Lloyds, we have check in's with our line managers to discuss progress and any concerns we may have.
Kaplan is a fantastic training provider, I have a talent coach that ensures I am progressing with the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to complete the programme. However, we also have dedicated tutors teaching us the content needed for the qualification and supporting where neccessary.
The qualification helps me to understand why the bank has certain policies in place, which was helpful as I am new to banking! However, I would say the qualification is more beneficial for career advancement after the apprenticeship programme.
Yes! Within my own team we have days out and team lunches monthly, across the wider organisation there are plenty of social groups to join with like minded individuals in a similar place to you (graduates, apprentices). We also have volunteering events that we can attend outside of work.
Yes
Lloyds are experts at early career development, the colleagues working within the organisation are very helpful and always willing to give their time to help, there is clear career progression within the company and the salaries are very good.
Be honest about your own skills and experience, but also truly consider why you want the role your applying for. Where is your passion? What do you hope to achieve? What values that are important to Lloyds, do you also share? (inclusion, boldness etc)
