  • My training provided is incredibly supportive and helpful. Any questions I may have are answered straightaway by my learning mentor Jo. Jo is very knowledgeable and a brilliant mentor to have. • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The qualification really helps me perform better in my role as it is building on my existing skills that I already have. For example, within the health and safety module, I learned more about the legislation which is vital in keeping myself and others safe. • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • No but I believe I would benefit from these activities and it would help boost morale and team work. Team building exercises would be very beneficial to the team and would ensure the staff are all working towards the same goal.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Creative Support to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Creative Support is a good employer as it has given the opportunity for me to complete this apprenticeship thus building my existing knowledge and skills for the future. Unfortunately there isn’t much opportunity for progression in the company which is its biggest downfall.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Creative Support?
  • Be honest about yourself. Care about others and if you have the proper values then you will do well on the company. Work hard and gain knowledge about duty of care, key legislations within care and be open to learning new things as there is a lot of mandatory training.
