I work as a Resource Planner within Engage a services department, I am responsible for supporting the Solutions Design team to deliver high-quality IT infrastructure and services to our customers. I proactively allocate and organise incoming projects to the best resource, ensuring that the workload is balanced across the available team members and that customer deadlines and expectations are met. I also liaise with other departments, such as Sales and Delivery, to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle from scoping to bookings to invoicing.
My communication skills are being developed day in and day out as well as my IT skills.
I love gaining real world experience while studying putting the theory we study into practice.
Very clearly organised in a easy to use website.
Management and the internal learning and development team are regular available upon request alongside weekly support meetings.
Monthly 1-2-1 sessions with my training provider and by weekly group training sessions. Can request more time if needed.
My qualification helps me better understand how my business runs and make it easier to plan and understand resource requirements.
I get involved regularly with extra curricular activities with my company. I go to women's football weekly, end of Quarter drinks, we have team nights outs regularly. There are also opportunities to get involved in company networking events such as a Tough Mudder, Golf Day and hiking trips.
