I prepare management accounts and statutory accounts on behalf of clients as well as VAT returns, tax returns, bookkeeping and other bespoke work.
Yes I've developed my ability as an accounting professional as well as soft skills such as communication both written and verbal.
I enjoy the experience a lot, people within the firm are friendly and approachable - their are lots of opportunities to progress and the firm are willing to support you in this.
Very well structured, I know what is expected of my at each stage. There is regular contact within the firm and with representatives from the training provider that help to keep individuals on track to complete their programme.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, if I explain my situation I always know management are there to help and aid in any way they can - this also transfers to the programme with exam sittings and preferences.
Kaplan provide excellent tuition, advice and materials to support my learning as part of the programme as well as offering opportunities to develop certain soft skills further as well.
It provides key knowledge to me as a training industry professional which I can then apply to my day to day job straightaway.
There are regular social activities organised by the firm and individuals within teams to improve team performance and cohesion.

They are an industry leading firm with a wealth of knowledge due to the high standard of people they employee, this offers an ideal learning environment and their are plenty of opportunities to progress up the firm and into new areas within the accounting industry.
