Looking after the elderly and helping them with their needs i.e. personal care. Completing daily tasks that we have been asked to do by the nurse in charge .i.e weights of residents.Completing documentation in the Progress and Evaluation section of the care plans. Documenting in the room folders throughout the day.
I have learnt more on what I knew and learnt more via the zoom sessions.
I really enjoyed the programme and the mentors have been fantastic and also talking with them and going over the questions and making it clear to understand.
Very organised and easy to follow.
Very good support.
I had real good support by my training provider and was always there to help when I needed help.
Having more and clearer knowledge overall.
We have a carer who is a Well-being Champion who organises things for staff to get involved with. We have done a food thing where staff made food from where they come from .i.e. Indian food,English food ect and all got together.
