I care for patients on my working day. My role includes making patients feel comfortable and safe, i take observations, assist with their care needs, I also help and assist the nurses who are on duty with me.
I have learnt many skills in my new job role, and continue to learn every day i am at work. The responsibilities i have during the care of my patients. I am currently completing my NVQ level 2 which i never thought I would do.
I cannot express how much i love my job, I have so much passion for my job role and i will enjoy all the projects i have to complete.
My programme is very well organised, i have spoken with my tutor who has explained everything to me. I have booked on to a number of workshops to improve my Maths and English knowledge.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, They encourage me to take my on the jobs hours i have to complete, they also ask if i need any assistance with my NVQ programme.
So far i have received a lot of support from my training provider. When i have had teams meetings with them they have expressed to me if i need anything to contact them, as they want me to succeed.
I fulfil my job role to a very high standard of care! without my NVQ qualification to which I received an award for employee of the year. I do believe that this qualification is now compulsory within the care sector. I know i will gain some more professional knowledge when i have completed the qualification.
I am part of the information governance meetings alongside my colleague.

There are so many opportunities to gain a fantastic career, with so much support from the Nuffield Health organisation. Nuffield Health looks after their employees which i find is a rewarding job to have, this makes you feel recognised for what we do on our working day.
The tips i would give to others is to read and learn about what the Nuffield Health organisation is all about. I would say there are a lot of things to know. Have a passion for what job role and you will have a positive and happy career.
