  • my role is an apprentice level 3 practitioner this involves taking care, educating and safeguarding children

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • my skills are still developing however so far I have learnt how to report any safeguarding issues, I have also done my first aid training

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I find my programme fairly easy I'm not over run with loads of course work I'm set a unit and once ive completed it we discuss it and move on when I'm ready, it doesn't make me feel stressed and I know if I need anything my assessor can assist me

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • very well organised I always feel supported and never feel like I can't email or message my assessor if I'm stuck or need help

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive all of the support I need from my managers and room leader they are always there if I need help with any of my work

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive all the support I need, all of the criteria is provided for me to follow and access at anytime I need it

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • my training helps me to perform better as I'm being supported to learn all the knowledge I need to know so that I don't feel lost at work and I feel that my understanding has developed so much more since starting my qualification

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • yes we have work parties, for example we celebrated our 20 years of been open in January

  • the company I work for is great the managers are lovely I know I can go to them about any problems and the will support me with anything I'm struggling with, they are all very approachable and friendly. I'm very happy with where I work as it's a lovely friendly environment to work in.
