Preparer for tax returns- adding info to CCH software and doing a risk assessment and draft cover letter

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Learnt how to use new software such as CCH and developed use of excel as well as technical knowledge in tax in general covering pensions, CGT, rental income etc.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Enjoy the work I am given, even though some days are quieter I understand this is expected for now

I am always updated on a plan and was always given the required training

5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am always asked daily about how I am doing for work and have had quite a few reviews already

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Have had a few sessions in class and online and have access to student support if needed

7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

There are a lot of exam questions that have been similar to returns I have done, this helps with the cover letter especially when explaining to the client any reasoning for something

I would say every week there is an email about a teams meeting about some of the activities listed above

From speaking to others, Crowe seems to have the best balance when it comes to working and making sure you are enjoying what you do

10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Crowe UK?

It is definitely worth it as they will help you to achieve your goals through a qualification and will guide you as well as giving you options to decide your own future, whereas with some other places you may have your path already chosen for you with no flexibility.
