  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

    • basically supervising each shift and managing the team running the bar , restaurant and reception . Completing daily task such as co pilot jobs , forecast keeping on top of schedule hours and making sure the hotel is running efficiently and safely.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I have learnt in most departments starting off as just receptionist to learning to work in the kitchen and and bar to running and leading a team as duty manager.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I do enjoy but I have fount it harder due to having to take my maths

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • I get big support and engagement especially when I feel stressed and finding it hard

    • They are a big help and support

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • A lot I have found it a big help especially with having our monthly sessions where we can hav the morning to sit and learn and support each other

    • Not quite sure I have learnt some new things from the tasks on here

    • We do and it’s nice to see everyone outside of wrk so we can have fun and enjoy time out

    • Be open to learn and let them know what it is you want as they will support you in getting into other job roles to progress
