My current responsibilities have involved me working towards my University assignments while I wait to be placed onto a project.
I have developed skills with respect to problem solving, presenting, programming, project management, essay writing and maintaining an effective balance between my uni and work commitments
I really enjoy this programme, it has given me plenty of opportunity to develop skills and manage my uni workload whilst being onboarded with the company.
The programme has been well organised, no real complaints with the way it has been structured.
I receive lots of support from my employer. This includes regular opportunities to further my skillset, as well as a workplace culture that encourages managing workload effectively.
I receive a good amount of support from my training provider. Most tutors/leaders at the university provide effective avenues to communicate, even if some are slightly harder to get to.
My qualification gives me a better insight into the breadth of responsibilities that I might have across my career. It ties well into the expectations of a software engineer, whilst also giving me an understanding of wider skillsets too.
There are plenty of extra-curricular activities at my workplace, including regular socials and networking events, sports teams and other activities.
Yes
They have a really positive work culture, and offer lots of support for new joiners to help progress themselves not just within the company, but for their careers too. I feel appreciated and well valued, and encouraged by those I work closely with.
Demonstrate an eagerness to get involved, to commit to ongoing development, and to your career interests. They emphasise 'Get the future you want', and appreciate individuals with initiative that know where they want to be, and are looking for opportunities to get there.
