I have recently finished my training at resource group and am now at LHR doing my next 2 years experience in different areas of the airport, I’m starting SCC nights next Monday and will be on placement until around Christmas time.
I’ve learnt new hand skills and I have learnt a lot more about the engineering involved in aircraft’s. I have completed exams on different parts of the aircraft so have gained alot of knowledge.
It’s very enjoyable as it’s a job but also something I enjoy doing. It’s fun to have a different job everyday and have the excitement of not knowing what task I will be doing the next day.
It’s very well organised as we get given a set plan on everything we will be doing throughout our course
Our employer provides all the support we need, any problems will be solved and they are very supportive and fair.
The instructors were very knowledgable and knew how to answer questions. We where provided support throughout
I know so much more about aircraft and how they function. It has assisted me a lot in performing tasks on the live aircraft
We did an enrichment day where we went clay shooting with our managers and some other people from LHR whilst as resource group
Yes
It’s an amazing company with what they provide in terms of the apprenticeship and training. Also with support through the apprentiship to our end goal
Be yourself as it’s not something you should fake. Be interested in what you want to do and also strive toward being your best at it
