I am a Marketing apprentice working in the QA team, my day-to-day consists of testing out new campaigns to make sure they work behind the scenes and for the end user, ensuring the campaign can be tracked by our team and user experience is as smooth as possible.
I have learnt good people and communication skills during my apprenticeship. Also I have learnt and improved my technical ability whilst begin on this apprenticeship along side learning code in Javascript, html and css.
I love all parts of my programme especially the work - life balance Sage push for. Along side that, I enjoy the aspect of learning on the job and how Sage allow you time to go learn new skills away from your role.
Very organised and well presented to us apprentices. From my college course to my on the job all things are set out fore me to do and I am now up to scratch and finding things fun and steady.
My employer is on hand to help me at all times when I run into problems when testing but also when I may be struggling with things personally. I now don't see people here as my employers but more my friends.
Top Top support, throughout this whole process whenever I have had issues or questions about something my training provider is always on hand to help me and take as much time as needed to walk me through everything thoroughly.
It has definitely helped me understand more about different aspects of the business and the thought process goes into the roles that they do and how they work around problems they may face.
Absolutely, at Sage we get 5 foundation days per year to go into the local community and volunteer which is such a great feeling, so rewarding. As well as, every so often we get funded team meals and activity's to help bring us together more. As well as, Sage provide and fund external courses to help learn new skills, in my case, coding courses to help me improve in my role.
Yes
The way Sage treats employees is outstanding and this is all across the business. Everyone will give up their own time to help with anything you need and no question is a silly question here. This helps make you feel welcome and comfortable to work here which is brilliant.
Be yourself. Nothing else is needed apart from that.
