  • Planning and implementation of activities. Teaching reception class. Taking care of the general well being of the children. Ensuring all the children are changed, cleaned and fed. To support the team in the running of the Nursery. To ensure the environment is clean, safe and inviting for the children.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Definitely. I have learnt reflective practice, leadership skills. How to write a formal essay. Planning skills, time management. How to give detailed feedback when doing observations. How to support and improve my own and others practice.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the programme. I have met lots of great people and have learnt so much from them and how they can be a positive influence on my own practice.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very well structured. There is a clear and concise schedule. The webinars are very informative and offer a great opportunity to learn and grow. The webinars also provide a great opportunity for students to learn from each other

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • To be honest I’m still negotiating on this we are trying to figure out a way to see if we can come to an agreement on how the support is going to work out.

  • Very good. Always there to help and support me. Offers good advice and support

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have learnt so much and gained so much knowledge from doing this course. It’s had definitely had a positive impact and influence on my daily practice.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have team meetings, inset days and team building activities. Also Christmas parties and other social events.
