On Mondays I do BTEC and the rest of the week I do engineering rotations.
I have learned how to operate machinery like a lathe and mill. I have also learned how to stick weld and developed my communication skills through reports. I also learnt fluid power.
I very much enjoy learning the new rotations because they are more practical to what I'm used to.
I think that the apprenticeship is well structured because of the rotations which change on a frequent basis, meaning that there is rarely any time were I don't have any work to complete.
I believe I receive plenty of support from my employer.
The support really depends on what rotation is being taught as different teachers have different views on teaching when it comes to assessments and tasks.
I believe that the rotations I go through at the training school benefit my role heavily as the rotations all focus on a aspect of my why work in the future.

Yes
I think that it is very enjoyable to work on a more practical basis which I know that most people my age are looking for, coming out of a school and paper work centered environment.
Start the paperwork as soon as possible so that you have enough time to complete it before the set deadline.
