Day today I look after subcontract accounts and also look after two projects which are in the design phase.
I would say that my Excel skills have increased dramatically since joining BAM, and also my formal writing, as this is utilised when processing and drafting subcontract orders
I do enjoy the program. I think the one thing that could possibly be approved is communication between the college and Bam
I would say that the college side is very organised. However, the company side isn’t as much that’s where the issues arise
From the apprentice team, not much at all, but from my own team that I work with I get a lot of support from
As I said above, I believe that the apprenticeship team doesn’t really have much involvement in in our development. It’s just are immediate team
I have learnt a lot of stuff in college which I have used in the workplace and a good effect, and I’m glad that I’ve had that opportunity to show my knowledge and put it into skills
I do get involved in extracurricular like a lot of networking and quite a few social activities, which include the client and our own team
Yes
I would, but I would strongly suggest that they stay motivated self motivated because it’s a bit disheartening knowing that you’re all employer team does it doesn’t really bother, but the actual team that you’re working around does
I said above about motivation, but also ensuring that you do actually use the skills that you’ve learnt at university or college in the workplace as they all transferable
