I am a nursery practitioner based in the pre-school room and on a 1-1 ratio 2 days a week. I help to educate and prepare the pre-schoolers for school, observe and assess their development and encourage a positive experience/opportunities for them.
Yes, I have further developed my work and skills when it comes to working with outside agencies and children with SEN - this is an area of early years I enjoy working around.
I have enjoyed this programme through out the last 15 months and will be hopefully finishing my qualification earlier than planned.
The programme is well organised and works around my work schedule and home life to ensure all webinars and training are completed at a time that is best for me.
My employer and my tutor have both been there to help guide and support me throughout the programme and have helped to extend my learning.
My training provider has been amazing throughout my training, answering emails and messages whenever to help with any queries or generally support.
My training helps me to plan activities and support staff, children and parents to the best of my ability.
My work offer termly training for staff on areas that staff would like to focus on - for myself last term I completed a SEN training course to help me with my 1-1 shifts.
