Adult care assistant. Working to support individuals with varying levels of disability. Helping them live independently and supporting them with their physical and mental health.
My current learning is ongoing. I have only recently started my level 3 NVQ Apprenticeship
At the moment it’s still very new to me and I’m trying to familiarise myself with the course and understand what is expected of me.
I’m really struggling with the structure of this course and how it is being delivered. Unfortunately, this delivery is very complicated and not very user friendly. Very low level of support and most times you have to seek it out. Don’t really feel supported.
They supported me to enrol and have agreed to work with me to achieve my goals. It’s still too early to judge as I’ve only started a month ago.
Low level of support. No one checks in or offers any support unless you reach out. Basically feel as if you are working in isolation.
Is too early to answer this question.
Generally the events are always centred around trainings or team meetings.
Yes
Despite all its shortcomings. They are still good employers
As long as you are passionate about care and have the desire to work in care. Trinity will support you to achieve this goal.
